Georgia Loses OT Sturdivant For Season

(Sports Network) - University of Georgia sophomore offensive tackle Trinton Sturdivant suffered a season ending knee injury on Monday and will miss the entire season, according to head coach Mark Richt.

Sturdivant started all 13 games at left tackle as a true freshman last season, but suffered a left knee injury in the Bulldogs' first scrimmage on Monday and will require reconstructive surgery at a date yet to be determined.

Georgia enters the 2008 campaign as the preseason No. 1 in the Coaches' Poll.
