(Sports Network) - C.J. Spiller caught a long touchdown pass and ran for another score, as the Clemson Tigers knocked off the Duke Blue Devils, 31-7, in ACC action at Memorial Stadium.

Spiller finished with 179 yards of total offense for the Tigers (5-5, 3-4 ACC). Quarterback Cullen Harper completed 20-of-26 passes for 292 yards and a touchdown. Aaron Kelly caught 10 passes to become the ACC's all-time career leader with 217 receptions.

Duke (4-6, 1-5) quarterback Thaddeus Lewis was knocked out of the game on the Blue Devils' second series. Zack Asack came in and went just 10-of-22 for 61 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. The Blue Devils have now lost six of their last seven.

Clemson jumped out to a 7-0 lead on a 24-yard touchdown run by Spiller with 2:34 remaining in the first quarter.

Tigers kicker Mark Buchholz booted a 39-yard field goal at the 4:10 mark of the second quarter.

The Tigers tacked on another touchdown in the final minute of the half, when James Davis scored on a one-yard run to send the Tigers to the locker room with a 17-0 cushion.

Harper and Spiller hooked up for an 83-yard scoring strike on the Tigers' second play of the third quarter.

The Clemson defense came away with an interception on the ensuing possession. Less than a minute later, Davis scored again on a three-yard run.

Duke avoided the shutout with a 28-yard touchdown pass from Asack to Eron Riley with six minutes to play.

Clemson, which has now won 14 straight over Duke, must win its final two games to become bowl eligible.
