NCAA Game Summary - Oral Roberts Vs Wright State

(Sports Network) - Troy Tabler came off the bench to score a game-high 16 points for the Wright State Raiders, as they knocked off Oral Roberts, 59-46, at the Mario Morales Coliseum as part of the San Juan Shootout.

John David Gardner connected for 13 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished off five assists in the Raiders (4-7) victory. N'Gai Evans chipped in with 10 points.

Dominique Morrison led the Golden Eagles (2-9) with 14 points in the loss. Kevin Ford tallied a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Kyron Stokes knocked down 10 points and added eight rebounds.

In a low-scoring first half, Wright State led at the break 22-19. The Raiders shot a pathetic 26.7 percent from the floor and 25 percent from beyond the arc. Oral Roberts missed all eight of its three-point shots in the first half to ensure a low scoring affair.

The second half was much better with Wright State hitting 46.7 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from three point range. The Golden Eagles connected for 34.6 percent of their field goals and 30.8 percent from long range. Wright State walked away with the 13-point win.

Both teams finished the contest with 42 rebounds and nine steals each. Oral Roberts blocked five shots and Wright State forced 21 Golden Eagle turnovers.
