Wilmington, NC -- (Sports Network) - For the second time in as many games, the UNC-Wilmington Seahawks erased a double-digit deficit, as they rallied to beat the Troy Trojans, 107-95, in a non-conference shootout at Trask Coliseum. Chad Tomko scored a game-high 33 points and dished out nine assists for UNCW (2-0). Dominique Lacy recorded a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Johnny Wolf tallied 20 points in the win. Kevon Moore (11 points) and Jerel Stephenson (15 rebounds) made significant contributions off the bench. Five players scored in double figures for Troy (0-2), led by Richard Delk with 19 points. Travis Lee was next in line with 15 points, followed by Regis Huddleston with 13, Tom Jervis with 12, and Brandon Hazzard with 11. UNCW jumped out to an 18-9 lead less than four minutes into the game, but the Trojans kept their composure and answered with a 16-0 run. The Trojans led, 55-47 at the half. The Seahawks caught fire in the second half, shooting 9-of-19 from beyond the arc (47.4 percent) and knocking down 11-of-13 from the foul line to seize control of the game. UNCW held a 50-42 edge on the boards, while also coming away with seven steals in the game.
