POSTED: 11:49 pm EST November 14, 2008

(Sports Network) - David Huertas tallied 24 points, including 18 in the second half, as the Ole Miss Rebels rallied to defeat the Arkansas State Red Wolves, 65-52, in a non-conference clash at Tad Smith Coliseum.

Huertas made good on 8-of-11 field goals and grabbed six boards for Ole Miss (1-0), while Chris Warren netted 14 points. Warren went a perfect 8-of-8 at the foul line, but made just 3-of-16 field goals and none of his eight three- point tries.

Shawn Morgan was the only player to reach double figures for the Red Wolves (0-1), finishing with 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field.

ASU made 10-of-28 shots from the floor in the first half and led by as many as seven points before carrying a 27-24 lead into the break.

The Rebels took over in the second frame, hitting on 12-of-15 free throws and holding the Red Wolves to just 25 points in the 13-point victory.

Neither team had much success from long range, as Ole Miss made just 3-of-22 chances and ASU only 1-of-12.
