(Sports Network) - Brandon Moore scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, as the Eastern Washington Eagles knocked off the Idaho Vandals, 69-59, in a non-league matchup at Reese Court.

Benny Valentine chipped in with 13 points for the Eagles (3-1), who held off a second-half charge by Idaho to lock up their third straight win. Milan Stanojevic added 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting.

Mac Hopson led all scorers with 25 points for Idaho (2-3), while Kashif Watson finished with 11 points.

The Eagles shot an efficient 56.5 percent from the floor in the first half, and they knocked down 12-of-13 at the foul line to take a 41-23 lead at the break.

Eastern Washington led by as many as 21 early in the second half, but the Vandals kept plugging away and eventually cut the deficit to 63-57 with 2:19 to play. But Valentine knocked down four consecutive free throws to push the lead back to 10 with less than a minute to play.

The Eagles made the most of their free-throw opportunities, knocking down 21- of-25 from the charity stripe.
