NCAA Game Summary - Eastern Michigan Vs. Cornell

(Sports Network) - Ryan Wittman scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Cornell Big Red to a 67-54 win over the Eastern Michigan Eagles in the consolation round of the NIT Season Tip-Off.

Jeff Foote and Geoff Reeves also added 15 points apiece for the Big Red (4-2), while Alex Tyler chipped in with 10 points in the win.

The Eagles (1-5) were led by Brandon Bowdry and L. J. Frazier, who each scored 11 points in a losing effort.

Cornell took control in the first half, shooting 13-of-28 from the floor to take a 31-28 lead at the break.

The Big Red kept the pressure on in the second stanza, knocking down 57.1 percent of its shots from the field, en route the 13-point victory.

Cornell dominated EMU in the post, outscoring the Eagles 32-18 in the paint.
