Charleston, SC -- (Sports Network) - Charles Jenkins racked up 31 points, including the game-winning free throw with 1.1 seconds remaining, to lift the Hofstra Pride to a 76-75 victory over the East Tennessee State Buccaneers on the final day of the Charleston Classic.

Cornelius Vines netted 16 points for Hofstra (2-1), which got 13 points from Tony Dennison.

Mike Smith scored 20 points in the loss for East Tennessee State (1-2). Courtney Pigram had 19 points and six assists for the Bucs, who got 18 points from Kevin Tiggs.

Hofstra shot 50 percent from the floor in the first half and led 44-40 at intermission.

The Pride made just 2-of-10 three-point attempts in the second half, but they defended the perimeter well over the final 20 minutes and escaped with the victory.

Hofstra overcame 18 turnovers in a game that featured six lead changes.
