Rosemont, IL -- (Sports Network) - Dar Tucker scored a game-high 26 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead the DePaul Blue Demons to a 75-70 win over the Indiana State Sycamores in a non-conference clash at Allstate Arena. Jeremiah Kelly added 11 points off the bench for the Blue Demons (4-0), while Jabari Currie pitched in 10 points and Mac Koshwal nine and 15 boards. The Sycamores (0-4) were paced by Aaron Carter who tallied 19 points and cleared six rebounds, followed by Rashad Reed and Josh Crawford with 17 and 12 points, respectively. Indiana State started out extremely flat, missing all 10 chances behind the three-point line and shooting a mere 8-of-27 from the field overall in the first half, leaving the visitors with a 39-19 deficit at the break. In the second half it was DePaul which suffered poor shooting at just 29.4 percent from the floor, yet still played well enough to survive with the five- point decision. The Blue Demons registered 20 offensive rebounds, helping the squad to overcome just 16-of-25 shooting at the free-throw line.
