Rosemont, IL -- (Sports Network) - Dar Tucker scored 22 points to lead the DePaul Blue Demons to a 71-62 victory over the Detroit Titans in a non-conference affair.

Mac Koshwal added 18 points and nine rebounds for DePaul (3-0).

Xavier Keeling and Donavan Foster both scored 15 points in the setback for Detroit (1-3).

DePaul was fortunate to own a 27-25 lead at intermission, as the team shot 10- of-31 from the floor and 4-of-9 from the foul line in the first half.

Over the final 20 minutes, the Blue Demons sealed the victory with 61.1 percent field goal efficiency and 18 points from the charity stripe.

Strong defense was certainly a factor in the win, as DePaul limited Detroit to 39.3 percent shooting from the field.
