Newark, NJ -- (Sports Network) - Jeremy Hazell with 17 points and five rebounds, was one of four Pirates to score in double digits, as Seton Hall defeated Delaware 75-70 in non-conference action at the Prudential Center. Eugene Harvey scored 15 points, while John Garcia and Jordan Theodore both contributed 13 for Seton Hall (5-1). Marc Egerson had game highs of 20 points and 14 rebounds and Jim Ledsome 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Blue Hens (2-4). Jawan Carter and Alphonso Dawson chipped in 17 and 13 points, respectively. Delaware shot 62.5 percent from the floor in the first half and went into the locker room with a seven-point lead, 38-31. The Blue Hens came out cold in the second half as they made just 10-of-31 shots from the floor and were just 2-of-15 from three-point range as they bowed in the five-point decision. Seton Hall was able to convert 19 Delaware turnovers into 23 points, while the Blue Hens only managed six points from 11 Pirate miscues. The Pirate bench outscored Delaware's reserves, 23-0.
