(Sports Network) - Jonathan Amos scored a game-high 26 points as the Toledo Rockets secured a 90-83 overtime win against Central Michigan in Mid-American Conference action at Rose Arena.

Amos made 16-of-19 shots at the free-throw line for the Rockets (10-18, 7-8 MAC) as they won their second straight game to close out the regular season. Jerrah Young registered a double-double with 21 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, followed by Tyrone Kent with 20 points and eight rebounds.

The Chippewas (13-16, 8-8) had five players score in double figures, led by Giordan Watson and his 21 points to go along with eight assists, four rebounds and three steals. Marko Spica posted 12 points, Jordan Bitzer 11 and nine boards, while Chris Kellermann and Marcus Van contributed 10 points as the team had a brief two-game win streak snapped.

CMU shot a mere 4-of-12 from three-point range and 6-of-13 at the free-throw line in the first half, yet the team trailed by just a single basket at 34-32 at the break.

In the second half the Chippewas again struggled at the stripe (6-of-12) and allowed Toledo to sink 63.6 percent from the floor, yet still found a way to get the game knotted at 73-73 and sent it into overtime.

In the bonus session the Rockets feasted at the free-throw line, 11-of-12, and cruised to the seven-point decision on the road.

In a game that saw five ties and four lead changes, the Rockets smoked Central Michigan at the free-throw line, 32-13.
