Berkeley, CA -- (Sports Network) - Jerome Randle scored 25 points to lead the California Golden Bears to an 87-74 victory over the San Francisco Dons in a non-league tilt at the Haas Pavilion. Randle also grabbed six boards and dished out seven assists for Cal (2-0), while Theo Robertson tallied 23 points in the win. Jamal Boykin contributed 15 points, while Patrick Christopher tallied 10 points for Cal. Manny Quezada posted 27 points for San Fran (2-1), while Dior Lowhorn chipped in 20 points in the loss. Cal shot 50.0 percent from the floor in the first half, and that included a 6- of-10 clip from long range. The tremendous offensive showing gave the Golden Bears a 38-36 lead at the break. Cal continued its outstanding play in the second stanza, shooting 67.9 percent from the floor en route to a 13-point win. The Golden Bears shot a staggering 58.3 percent from the floor in the contest, while San Fran posted a 50.0 percent shooting effort.
