Buffalo, NY -- (Sports Network) - Calvin Betts scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds, as the Buffalo Bulls notched an 83-73 win over the Temple Owls in a non-league matchup at Alumni Arena. Greg Gamble scored 15 points for the Bulls (3-2), who saw five players reach double figures. Andy Robinson added 13 points, while Rodney Pierce scored 12, and Max Boudreau finished with 11. Dionte Christmas led all scorers with 25 points for Temple (3-2), as the veteran guard knocked down 5-of-10 shots from beyond the arc. Ryan Brooks tallied 13 points, and Sergio Olmos finished with 12. Temple had the hot hand in the first half, as the Owls knocked down a sizzling 16-of-27 field goals to take a 39-33 halftime lead. But the Bulls seized the momentum in the second stanza, as they shot 61.5 percent from the field and held a 16-4 scoring advantage at the foul line to complete the comeback. Buffalo's bench outscored Temple's bench, 28-9 for the game.
