Oxford, OH -- (Sports Network) - Michael Bramos scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Miami-Ohio RedHawks to the 75-59 win over the Bowling Green Falcons in Mid-American Conference play at Millett Hall. Bramos, who also cleared six rebounds and recorded four steals, shot an impressive 5-of-7 behind the three-point line for the RedHawks (15-14, 9-7 MAC) as they closed out the regular season with two wins in three tries. Tim Pollitz added 18 points and eight rebounds and Eric Pollitz 11 points. The Falcons (13-16, 7-9), losers of two straight, were led by Nate Miller with 21 points and eight boards, with Brian Moten and Joe Jakubowski contributing 13 points apiece. Miami raced out to a 15-3 advantage barely six minutes into the first half and never looked back, posting a 36-20 lead at the break as it held the Falcons to a mere 32 percent shooting from the field in the frame. The RedHawks stretched their lead to 21 points midway through the second and then cruised to the 16-point home win. Miami held the visitors to just 7-of-25 shooting behind the three-point line and also limited the BGSU backups to only four points. The RedHawks were under the direction of Jermaine Henderson who on Friday was named the interim coach as head coach Charlie Coles takes a break and tends to health-related issues.
