Cleveland police said that a 24-year-old Cleveland man was killed Thursday morning in a one-car crash on Interstate 90.

Lt. Thomas Stacho said that the man's 2005 Toyota Scion crashed into a guardrail just after 4 a.m.

Witnesses said that the vehicle was traveling well above the posted speed limit and likely in excess of 100 mph when it left the south side of the roadway and struck the guardrail.

The crash in the eastbound lanes at West 25th Street caused major traffic problems for the morning rush hour.

All lanes have reopened. Three lanes were shut down for more than three hours.

Police said there was a lot of glass and debris on the roadway.

Another crash has been reported on I-90 eastbound. The latest wreck involves two cars in the right-center lane.

Traffic continues to back up to McKinley Road.
