SUFFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. showed off its newest air ship Monday. The unnamed blimp took a test flight at Wingfoot Lake in Suffield Township in Portage County, NewsChannel5 reported. This blimp replaces the Stars & Stripes air ship that crashed at an industrial park in Coral Springs, Fla., in June. The new air ship is about 200 feet long, 50 feet wide and 60 feet tall. It holds 200,000 cubic feet of helium and air. Images: Blimp Takes Test Flight Goodyear is celebrating 80 years of flight. The Spirit of Goodyear is based in Portage County and the Spirit of America is docked in Los Angeles. Goodyear is not saying yet what the name of the new blimp will be or how it will be chosen.
