Lightning Strike Takes Top Half Of House Off

A home was struck by lightning Monday evening as storms rolled through northeast Ohio.

The lightning strike took the top half of the house off, officials said.

Twenty-five firefighters from the Village of Lakemore, Coventry Township, the city of Green and Uniontown went to the scene.

About $150,000 in damage was done to the home.

No one was injured.
