A well-known Akron couple settled a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of Jeffrey Zack.

Ed and Cindy George will pay $650,000, according to court records filed this week.

Zack was killed by John Zaffino in June 2001. His son and mother sued the Georges and Zaffino.

Cindy George had affairs with both Zack and Zaffino. Zaffino is serving time for the murder and Cindy George's conviction of complicity to murder was overturned in 2007.

Her husband was never implicated in the death. He owns the Tangier restaurant in Akron.
