Interstate 77 is reopening in Summit County following a crash in which a pickup truck driver was critically injured after being ejected.

A pickup truck overturned just after 1 p.m. on I-77 northbound at the Arlington Street Interchange.

According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, a 1991 Ford Ranger pickup truck was driving south on I-77 when it clipped another truck, spun out and hit the median.

The pickup rolled over and landed in the northbound lanes, and the 29-year-old driver was ejected.

The Copley resident was taken to Akron City Hospital and is in critical condition with head and neck injuries.
