Study Finds Relationships Important To Health
Relationships Can Buffer Stresses Of Life
Whether it's your partner, children or close friends, the people you trust as family and friends definitely play a role in your health.
A recent study found that relationships are just as important to your health as exercising and eating well, NewsChannel5 reported.
The study found that strong relationships can motivate you to take care of yourself and can also be an important buffer from the stresses of everyday life.
"Living with a sense of purpose and joy usually revolves around how you feel about the people around you," said Stephanie Fallcreek, of the Successful aging task force.
On the basis of these findings, science appears to support common sense: that love tends to make for successful aging.
