Most Memorable Stories: I once did a story about a homeless couple who found a woman’s purse with thousands of dollars of cash in it and they turned it over to police. Viewers were so inspired they offered to help the couple in a number of ways.
Another one of my favorites was a story we did on how to recognize potentially deadly carbon monoxide poisoning. A couple of days later a Canton area family called to say they thought they all had the flu until their daughter remembered our story. They called firefighters who found dangerous levels of CO in their home from a faulty furnace and thanked us for the story.
For just plain fun. Covering the Ohio State Buckeyes game from the sidelines when they beat Michigan at the Horseshoe before going on to win the National Championship was spectacular.

Something most people don't know about me: I’ve covered many blizzards and wild weather in Cleveland, but I also covered Hurricane Isabel for our sister station WMAR TV in Baltimore. I stood outside for 15 hours of coverage while 100 mph winds slammed into the east coast blowing pine trees down I-95 and shearing off transformers that exploded in the night sky, it was amazing. It was a category 5 at sea but hit as a one, which was still very dangerous.
What I like best about Northeast Ohio: The change of seasons, I love every season here because there’s so much to do outside. And I love Lake Erie.
