Most Memorable Stories: Earlier this year, I interviewed an off-duty Army Captain who had helped rescue several people from the burning wreckage of a fiery head-on motor vehicle collision. As we like to say on TV, “It was all caught on camera!” It was a great story that ended up making national headlines - for good reason.

Awards/Honors: In 2014, I was among a team of journalists that won the Associated Press Award for "Best Newscast" for our live breaking news coverage of a terrifying accident at the North Carolina State Fair.

News Philosophy: I am drawn to investigating stories that force meaningful changes in people’s everyday lives.

Role Models: Katie Couric, Anderson Cooper

Favorite Sports Team: VCU Rams

On the weekends I love to: Sleep in! That’s usually followed by a few errands, a couple hours at the gym, and then spending the evening exploring Cleveland’s amazing food scene! I’m still making my rounds to all the restaurants and bars. Know any places that serve a great Old Fashioned?
