Men may soon be popping birth control pills.
According to British researchers, the a male birth control pill has been tested on 60 men. And it worked, NewsChannel5 reports.
The pill works by introducing hormones into the bloodstream, which stops the production of sperm. There also aren't any side effects.
It will be introduced at a medical conference in the fall.
Many believe it's a good idea, because the responsibility will not just fall on the woman. If the pill is approved, it could be on store shelves in five years.
