Day Care Centers Installing Web Cameras

Curious as to what's going on in your child's day care?

NewsChannel5 reports that parents can now spy on them from the comfort of their home or office.

Childtime Children's Center in Beachwood is among a growing number of day-care centers to install Internet-connected Web cameras that let working parents look in on their offspring by computer anytime.

For $24.99, parents can subscribe to the center's ParentWatch service. All parents need to do is enter in a special code and they can watch junior do his thing.

ParentWatch has its system installed in 110 centers in more than 30 states. It sets up parents with user identification codes and passwords.

The Childtime centers are ParentWatch's first in Ohio, although other companies have gone into day care centers in Columbus and Cincinnati.
