SEATTLE, Posted 8:34 a.m. February 11, 1999 -- Guys, get ready for a birth control pill.

NewsChannel5 reports scientists at the University of Washington are developing a cocktail that will stop the hormone that produces sperm.

When tested, the cocktail shut down sperm production in 90 percent of the men.

A similar drug, in a pill form, is being tested in Italy.

One researcher says it's been difficult trying to get drug companies that will put the drug on the market.

This mix just may be available in 2000.
