CLEVELAND -- A lot of women wear makeup everyday so they often deal with makeup getting on other things besides their face. This also causes them to have an inflated dry cleaning bill, according to NewsChannel5's Joe Pagonakis.
In "Let Joe Try It," Pagonakis tried Merle Norman's foundation and blush, which both make bold claims about lasting long.
Nora Goodwin runs the Merle Norman outlet at Southgate Shopping Center in Middleburg Heights. Norman swears by the products.
The real test starts when Merle Norman's makeup is put on Margaret Gallagher. After 20 minutes of drying time, it passes the turtleneck test. And almost nothing was left on a white Kleenex, Pagonakis said.
For the most part, Merle Norman makeup lives up to the claims of being smudge-proof, he said.
"It's fantastic," Goodwin said. "You just put it on and go."
