Get Detour For I-71 Ramp Closure
Ramp To I-90 To Be Closed Through Weekend

CLEVELAND -- If you use Interstate 71 to get downtown, prepare for a traffic change.
The I-71 northbound ramp to I-90 westbound and I-490 eastbound will be closed starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday. The ramp will be closed again from 8 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday, and Friday at 8 p.m. until noon Sunday. However, the I-490 ramp will be open during the weekend.
The Ohio Department of Transportation is closing the ramp for paving work.
Motorists traveling on the Jennings Freeway (Route I76) northbound to I-90/I-490 will also be affected by the closure and will have to exit the highway and follow the detour route.
Drivers are advised to take I-71 north/I-90 east to I-77 south to I-490 east and I-90 west.
